Shooting and Hunting Parties

Struan Inn is an ideal location for small shooting parties. Situated in the centre of an area famous for some of the finest hunting Estates in Scotland. Hunting, fishing and shooting can be arranged by the hotel to suit your needs. Whether its a 'day at the stags' or bagging yourself a brace of grouse it can all be organised by us for your enjoyment, if you are lucky you may get 'A McNab', which is a Salmon, a brace of Grouse and a red Stag all on the same day. With lochs and rivers in good supply, there is ample salmon fishing stretches to be tried during the season and also trout and pike can be landed.

Before your days hunting you will be served a hearty scottish breakfast - and if required, a filling packed lunch will be supplied. After your days shooting you can retire to the lounge and sample a few drams from our extensive range of fine malt whisky.

Shooting

Pitlochry is ideally situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands in Perthshire and is surrounded by some excellent local sporting estates. Enjoy superb driven pheasant, grouse and partridge shooting of the very highest quality. Our many estate partners, offer some of the best opportunities for country sports that you will find anywhere in Scotland. We can offer a variety of country sports packages – for example a weekly mixed package of walked up grouse shooting, open moorland stag and hind stalking.

Stalking

There is also limited availability of driven grouse and roe deer stalking which can occasionally be included in your package depending on stocks. The beats can usually accommodate between five and ten sporting guests at a time. And many parties choose to make it a family event bringing children and friends to share the scenery and visit local attractions. We can also offer mixed bird hunting, rough shooting to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether your objective is a trophy head or a thrilling stalk, we will provide for your every need.
